CHICLAYO & TRUJILLO

CAJAMARCA & CHACHAPOYAS
The city of Cajamarca has a great historical importance because Atahualpa, the last Inca, was caught there. The Spanish victory marked the end of the Inca Empire and the beginning of the Spanish colony in Peru and witness to this is the Rescue Room where the last Inca was taken prisoner. In addition, the surroundings of Cajamarca offer different archaeological and natural places to visitors. Chachapoyas was the development region of the powerful kingdom of Chachapoyas. Its legacies include the Kuelap Fortress in the Utcubamba river valley as well as other archaeological centers. The fortress has 20 m high walls and more than 500 circular dwellings inside.
IQUITOS
It is home to the National Reserve of Pacaya Samiria, the largest in the country and the fourth in South America. It allows the traveler to appreciate very dense vegetation and exuberant tropical forests surrounded by the majestic Amazonas river, the biggest river in the world, and its tributaries. It is also the natural shelter of a surprising flora and fauna diversity.
TUMBES & PIURA

PUERTO MALDONADO
It is home to the National Reserve of Tambopata Candamo, which has 109 hectares of virgin forest. It is a protected fauna and flora area and one of the richest ecosystems in the world. It stands out for its variety of birds – about 600 species – and a large number of mammals and insects, which is a great tourism attraction to visitors, in particular those who love ecological tourism or go to the forest to make research.
